Everything is Material

What are you passionate about?

What am I passionate about?

It’s an easy answer, easy to find … I’m passionate about everything! Yes, everything!  Because I find inspiration in everything. I know that sounds like a cop-out answer, but it’s true. Whether it’s a random conversation overheard at a convenience store, a book about birds, or just the way the light hits my coffee cup at 2am … there’s always something there that sparks something in me.
Being a sponge means I absorb it all, and somewhere in all that absorption, passion happens and the inspiration kicks in. It might be a blog post idea, a connection I hadn’t seen before, or just a feeling that I want to capture in words. The passion isn’t in any one specific thing – it’s in that moment when something ordinary suddenly becomes worth paying attention to.
I think that’s why I need all those boundaries and quiet time. When you’re passionate about everything, you have to be really careful about what you let in, because it all becomes material. Everything feeds the creative fire, which is amazing but also exhausting if you don’t manage it right.

So yeah, everything. That’s my answer.
