Sacred Hours: When Silence Speaks

How important is spirituality in your life?

Spirituality is incredibly important to me, and it’s deeply rooted.
My early morning hours, just me, my coffee and my thoughts? That’s where I often feel closest to God. There’s something deeply spiritual about having the world to myself in those quiet moments, having honest conversations with Him about everything—my joys, concerns, fears, and gratitude. It’s when I feel most connected to the divine while everyone else sleeps.
My belief in salvation has fundamentally changed how I view everything. I no longer carry the weight of my mistakes because I believe Jesus took them upon himself on the cross. This isn’t just about getting into heaven someday—it’s about experiencing forgiveness and transformation right now, in my daily life.
I find spirituality woven throughout my routine – in God’s voice speaking into my current circumstances, in worship whether I’m at church or quietly reflecting at home, and in seeing God’s hand in the simple things I’m grateful for. I trust that God has a purpose for the life He’s given me.

My faith is the foundation that everything else is built on. It’s not separate from who I am—it is who I am.
