When you can stand tall in the face of failure,
And see each setback as a chance to learn;
When you can face your fears without wavering,
Yet understand the wisdom in concern;
When you can listen more than you are speaking,
And find the truth in views you don’t embrace;
When you can help another who is struggling,
Without expecting gratitude or praise;
When you can wake each morning with a purpose,
And end each day with something to be proud;
When you can walk your path with quiet conviction,
Not needing validation from the crowd;
When you can find the beauty in the ordinary,
And gratitude for things both great and small;
When you can cherish moments with your loved ones,
And be present with them, giving them your all;
When you can fail a hundred times and still rise,
With hope undiminished, spirit still aflame;
When you can trust the journey, not the destination,
And know that growth itself is why you came;
Then you’ll discover treasures beyond measure,
Not found in wealth or fleeting fame or might;
You’ll know the joy of living with intention—
And find that you’ve been walking in the light.
