WHY ARE THERE SUDDENLY MORE “CONTENT CREATORS” THAN ACTUAL CONTENT ON THE INTERNET?!?!? 😤😤😤 Chris Henson here, and I am ABSOLUTELY LOSING MY MIND over this EPIDEMIC of SELF-PROCLAIMED “CREATORS” who somehow create NOTHING but NOISE and ALGORITHMS, SHARE CONTENT THAT THEY DID NOT CREATE and CALL THEMSELVES CREATORS!!!
   Let me paint you a picture of the DIGITAL WASTELAND we’re living in: REAL content creators spend DAYS researching, writing, filming, editing, and perfecting their work while these ALGORITHM SURFERS just point at text on a green screen while making the SAME FACIAL EXPRESSION FOR 8 SECONDS!!! That’s not creation, that’s DIGITAL PANHANDLING!!!
   When did we decide that POINTING AT WORDS while looking SHOCKED or CONFUSED qualifies as “CONTENT”?!? I watched someone get 2.7 MILLION VIEWS for literally standing in front of someone else’s tweet and NODDING!!! Meanwhile, my friend who spent THREE MONTHS making an incredible documentary got 412 views!!! MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!
   The REAL creators are out there developing skills, investing in equipment, and pouring their souls into their work while these ENGAGEMENT VAMPIRES are buying followers, copying trends, and making reaction videos TO REACTION VIDEOS!!! It’s not content, it’s a PYRAMID SCHEME OF NOTHINGNESS!!!
   I stumbled across a “day in the life” video from a “lifestyle creator” last week and it was literally just 7 minutes of them OPENING PACKAGES OF PRODUCTS THEY GOT FOR FREE!!! That’s not creation, that’s GLORIFIED UNBOXING!!! My 4-year-old nephew does the same thing on Christmas morning but at least HE has genuine excitement!!!
   These FRAUDULENT CREATORS have bios that read like a WORD SALAD OF BUZZWORDS!!! “Digital storyteller, influence cultivator, aesthetic curator, vibes architect”!!! WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN??? Just say you point your phone at your face while reciting facts from Wikipedia, SAMANTHA!!!
   The absolute WORST are the ones who STEAL from real creators!!! I watched a TikTok “comedy creator” literally just REENACTING word-for-word a scene from a 10-year-old YouTube video!!! That’s not creating, that’s PLAGIARISM WITH A RING LIGHT!!!
   And don’t get me STARTED on these “educational creators” who just regurgitate DANGEROUSLY OVERSIMPLIFIED information they found from a SINGLE GOOGLE SEARCH!!! My cousin now thinks the Roman Empire fell because of “bad vibes” because some “history creator” with PERFECT EYEBROWS said so in a 15-second video!!! That’s not education, that’s INTELLECTUAL MALPRACTICE!!!
   The genuine creators I know spend HOURS responding to comments, building communities, and actually CARING about their audience while these ENGAGEMENT FARMERS hire VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS to leave generic comments like “So true bestie! 🔥” on every post!!! It’s not connection, it’s EMOTIONAL COUNTERFEIT!!!
   I watched a “cooking creator” last month make a recipe that was LITERALLY just opening 4 cans and mixing them together!!! Then they had the AUDACITY to call it “my signature dish”!!! YOUR SIGNATURE IS OPENING CANS, BRIAN!!! Gordon Ramsay would have an ANEURYSM!!!
   The most INFURIATING part is how these fake creators have the PERFECT SETUP – the lighting, the microphone, the camera – all to deliver ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF VALUE!!! It’s like building a NASA-level spaceship to travel to your MAILBOX!!!

UPDATE: Just saw a “meditation creator” post a video where they PRETENDED to meditate for 10 seconds and then spent 2 minutes promoting their $499 “mindfulness mastermind”!!! That’s not spirituality, that’s a SCAM WITH GOOD LIGHTING!!!

UPDATE 2: In case you’re wondering, YES, this is Chris “I’ve Had It With Everything” Henson! I’ve ranted about barking dogs and traffic lights, but at least those things actually EXIST and DO SOMETHING! Unlike these so-called “creators” who create nothing but the unstoppable urge for me to throw my phone into the SEA!!!
