What is the legacy you want to leave behind?
The legacy I’m hoping to leave behind is just me trying my best to be real in everything I’ve created. Through my songs, my writings, and the artwork, I’ve tried to put my honest feelings out there, hoping others might connect with them. I’ve written about tough stuff and good times, and it means a lot when someone tells me my work helped them through something or made them feel less alone.
I guess what I really want to leave behind is the idea that it’s worth it to keep creating, even when it’s hard. If something I made inspires someone else to pick up a pen or a microphone, that’s probably the best legacy I could ask for. My work doesn’t have to change the world… I just want it to matter to the people who found something in it that spoke to them, hopefully inspiring family generations long after I’ve passed.
