Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

I think my approach to sustainability is probably different from what most people would expect. I’m not composting or driving a hybrid or buying organic everything – though those things are great if they work for you. My version of sustainable living is more about living simply and not consuming more than I actually need.
—I’m not staying up late with lights blazing and electronics running.
—I’m not constantly going places.
—I try to buy things that last instead of constantly replacing cheap stuff.
—I don’t need constant entertainment, fancy vacations, or new stuff to feel fulfilled.
My happiness comes from things that don’t require much consumption – writing, reading & quiet time.
When you find joy in simple things, sustainability kind of happens naturally. You’re not always needing more to feel satisfied.
